Congratulations to 2024 Water Valley graduate Aly Greebon on being the recipient of the 23-24 NHS scholarship in the amount of $268. This scholarship was awarded based on Aly's commitments to the four pillars of NHS: Scholarship, Service, Leadership, and Character. Congratulations Aly!

Jr high and High School athletes and band members will eat first. We will open $6 burger meal deals at 5:30. Announcements of players will be around 6:30. Come out to support your Lady Wildcats and Wildcats!! You will have an opportunity to purchase ads for the athletic program and to become a member of the booster club!

Attention all current NHS members, or any high school students, who plan on applying for the National Honor Society, we have a volunteer opportunity for you. You can help our Booster Club prepare for the upcoming year by volunteering with them on Sunday, August 18th, at 4 pm. They will clean the concession area, paint signs, and make noise makers. They will have a document to log your time on Sunday. It must be filled out in order for you to receive credit. You are responsible for speaking with Mrs. Wiese or Mrs. Naylor when you arrive and before you leave. If you are interested and willing, please show up at the football concession area and be ready to work! If you have questions, please get in touch with Donna Chapman or Jennifer Sims, NHS Sponsors. ✏️If you would like to earn some service hours, please come to the high school on Thursday from 8:00-11:00 to help sort through and organize school supplies. We will be working in the old computer lab.✂️

Water Valley ISD families: Remember that registration for the 2024-2025 school year will be Wednesday July 31 from 8-12 and 3-6 and Thursday August 1 from 8-12 and 3-6.
New students will need birth certificates, SSN, shot records, and parents' ID. All students need proof of residency.

Due to the generous support of some community partners, school supplies will be provided for all K-12 WVISD students!
As we have found in the past that many students prefer to select their own backpacks, we are not providing backpacks for all students. There will be some available for any student who needs or wants one however. All other supplies will be provided.
